Chapter 1
My name is Tiggerdude10. I was at home practicing the drums when on the news a reporter said "Some penguins got stranded when we found a sled on a jump in Ridge Run. We have sent 10 search parties to find the 4 stranded penguins. There has been no signs of them. Now it's time for the weath-" I turned off the TV. Perhaps I could go help? What if I get stranded myself? Well, we couldn't just let the penguins sit there and do nothing. They need food. I got my puffle, and hiking gear. I was about to go on a little exploring. I'm about to go on what I call The Epic Journey. The air smelled nice. I could already find myself reading an issue of The Penguin Times. PENGUIN FINDS LOST PENGUINS. I felt proud of myself already. After a few days of hiking up a hill I thought was small, I didn't really feel that way. I took my time climbing up a mountain that would take 10 seconds to walk around! My puffle fell out of my backpack. A few days later, I climbed down the mountain and saw my puffle sleeping there. I walked into a cave. "Anybody there?" I asked. There was a few minutes of silence. Then I saw a little red dot. Then another. And another. All of a sudden me and my puffle were looking at a bunch of eerie, red, glowing dots. What were they? Bats. I ran out of the cave. I ran back in after they went into the cave behind me. I exited through the other side of the cave. I saw Ridge Run. I also saw little dots in the snow. Almost as big a my flipper. They were too flat to be a puffle's. They could have been a penguin's. I followed the little dots, and they disappeared. The snow covered them up. Doesn't look like I could do anything now. Then I saw some fur. Penguin fur! Cyan. One of the penguins were cyan!
I followed the small pieces of fur. I collected all of them. I went to the HQ. I gave all the pieces of fur to G. He put all of the pieces together because there were small white pieces on each one. It said 'Cove'. "It wants us to go to the Cove!" I yelled happily. I guess it wouldn't take long after all. The penguins were just lost somewhere around the Cove. But why would they want us to find us then just go to the Cove? I thought. Something was wrong and I had to figure it out. I waddled over to the Cove. I found orange fur. One was also orange! The orange fur said 'Dock'. I went to the dock. Green. Went to the Beacon. Red. Blue. Black. Pink. Brown. Yellow. Red again. A penguin was messing with our minds! Was it? I went back to where I found the cyan fur. I found 2 search party penguins. "In our search party group, 3 penguins disappeared!" the red penguin said. This penguin was playing with us! Was it a penguin? The only animal that would eat a penguin would be... seal?
