Here's my first CP story. Enjoy? :D
Prologue
Everything's changed. The Shadows have taken over. The evil, heartless, Shadows. An organization in the need of a hideout.
Club Penguin's island, of course.
The Shadows were actually penguins. Really buff penguins. They were black, they wore all black, and no other penguins could see their faces.
All penguins knew that they couldn't win. Including the secret agents.
But, yet, there was a light of hope. One secret agent had a brother that was a Shadow. She knew everything. So she would fight back.
No one else trusted her. They just screamed every day, fearful that Club Penguin was coming to an end.
That secret agent was on a mission right now.
That secret agent is me.
My name is Raven. I am a one year secret agent, a rookie compared to everyone else. I was lucky to even be a secret agent. One penguin helped me through to the end.
Shadow.
She’s a four year secret agent, and a great one at that. She tops every other agent. I struggle to like her. I get teased and pushed around, but I ignore it.
She’s called Shadow because her life’s goal is to get rid of the Shadows. She says there was a prophecy about her when she was little, about a girl bringing peace to Club Penguin. Obviously, it was her.
“Raven,” Shadow whispered through the earphone. “Can you hear me? Are you alright? Can you see any Shadows?”
“Yes, yes, no,” I assured her. “Everything’s clear.”
“I’m so worried about you,” she breathed. “You could perish on this mission.”
I snapped back, “I’ll be perfectly fine.”
She sighed lightly. My eyes suddenly widened.
A dark shape was walking across the snow.
I panicked. “Shadow! Shadow! There’s…someone there! WHAT DO I DO?!”
“It’s alright.” Her voice was calm, but I knew she was still slightly scared. “Can they see you?”
“No.”
“Alright. Sneak up on them.”
I stealthily crept up to them, sinking into the snow. I stepped on a twig.
They spun around.
I held my breath.
“I’m mapping you. I see them. They see you. Run, or fight, or something!” Shadow suddenly panicked as well.
“Who are you?!” the shape exclaimed.
“N….no one,” I stammered, knowing I was about to be finished. Shadow sobbed.
Suddenly, the Shadow removed his hood and face mask.
I drew in a sharp breath. My blood seemed to turn to ice. “B-brother…!”
