Lately,

I have been noticing that there are 2 or more of the same threads.
and
That the news articles have the same threads.

My opinion, all the staff members should have a meeting and discuss this problem. When CPF first opened, everything was fine. Now, it looks like a cluttered mess.

I'm browsing the News Articles forum right now, and do not see any threads that state the same thing. The threads put on the front page and in the news articles forum each contain different information, as far as I can tell.

I have combined the threads that needed to be combined, thank you for pointing them out. The Cart Surfer threads do not need to be combined, as well as the Favorite Game threads, each of the threads are different from each other.

Yes, my Cart Surfing guide is an actual guide, whereas the Cart Surfing Trcik thread isn't one (it never even claimed to be!!). That one is for a complete list of tricks, and their controls. However, my guide is one that completely covers the whole subject, not just moves.
I believe the trick thread is kinda a helper for people to figure out the new moves. Mines to understand the game.
If you actually read the two threads, you will see their huge differences.

My opinion, all the staff members should have a meeting and discuss this problem. When CPF first opened, everything was fine. Now, it looks like a cluttered mess.This is a new forum and it'll take time for the members as well as some of the mods to remember where everything should go. Since I've been creating forums almost daily, there is bound to be some confusion and repeation. It just takes time for everything to be comfortable with the new forum arrangements. Since the forums aren't set in stone yet, I wouldn't expect it to happen right away.

Club Penguin is a fairly new game to several of the mods and they are still learning it, but most of the mods have a great deal of experience modding other forums. Several users came over from our other forums because they like our forums and they are still learning about Club Penguin as well.

Overall, we're all on a learning curve here, but hopefully we'll have the bugs and learning curve problem settled shortly.

General CP Game Talk & Other ForumsMost of these have been merged by myself or other mods. Thanks for pointing these out to us. To avoid problems, we're not going to merge some of those threads as it would create some chaos to those threads.

I've also been seeing duplicate threads for birthdays, which is very annoying.
