Group thread privacy

When scrolling around in the index, I noticed a thread that is in a usergroup forum. I know the forums are invisible to those who are not members of the group, but should its threads be too? Just wondering.

You're a ranter, so all threads/posts in that forum are visible to you. Those that aren't a ranter can't view them at all just like the forum.
