Club Penguin Guide
This guide is for new penguins. First I want to say Welcome! I hope you are having a wonderful time.

Creating Your Penguin and Rules
To create a penguin, you go to the club penguin site. You then click on the play now button. Look at the bottom of the screen, you'll see something that says "Don't have a penguin?" At the bottom of that question, you see Create one now to create your penguin. It goes to the rules section. Make sure you read the rules section before you go on. It gives you important information. After you read the rules, click on next at the bottom of the screen. Also make sure you read the Terms and Conditions. Check off the boxes that say "I agree to the CP rules" and "I agree to the Terms and Conditions". You go straight to chosing your penguin. You then choose a name for him/her. Then choose a password (5 min.). You can choose from standard safe chat which allows you to type your own messages or Ultimate Safe Chat which allows you to use the phrases that the staff created. Put in your email adress twice and it will send your activation code. After you put in your activation code, you are all set to play!! Congrats!!
Getting Started and Places
There are about nine places. They are the forest, the cove, the iceburg, the dock, the ski village, ice rink. the town, the mine, the plaza and a few more. To go those place, just go to the map which is located at the left hand bottom corner.
Places:
Town- Coffee shop, Nightclub and Gift Shop
Nightclub- It has 2 floors. The first floor is where the penguins go and have a party and dance. It doesn't really have a DJ but anyone can be the DJ. On the second floor it has 2 games. One game is astroid stones and the second one is an ice game. You play a black puffle that is on fire. you have to get rid all the ice.
Coffee Shop- It also has 2 floors. The firstfloor is the coffee place where the penguins are roleplaying things like they are waiters/ waitresses. There is also a game called Beans where you have to collect bean bags for coffee. The second floor is the library. It has a game called manacala. You can read books written by some characters around club penguin they had made like Rockhopper. You can also read stories by other penguins.
Gift Shop- It is where the catelog comes out every once a month or so on Fridays. Only members can buy clothing in there. That is all I have to say about the gift shop.

Forest- The forest doesn't really have much. It leads to the cove.It opened last Febuary. To get to the cove, you can use the map if you are not in the forest or if you are in the forest you can use the stairs.
Cove- It has binocualars. You can see things farther away into the ocean. There are three logs around a campfire. There is a shack where you can start to play a surfing game. There are 4 stages to the surfing game. There is Surfing Lessons, Freestyle, Competiton and Survival. There is also a little lake.

Ice Burg- It isn't very much, but I'll tell you anyway. Go to the map. See the clump of ice in the water? That is the iceburg. It's only decorative on special ocassions and stuff.

The Beach- It has a light house on it. There is sand on the ground. It is like a regular beach. It has chairs and rocks.
Lighthouse- The lighthouse is quite decorative. It is where the band plays. You can watch the band play by sitting in the chairs. To go upstairs, click the the arrow that says "To Top". Up there, it has a big telescope. The telescope is where you can see Rockhopper's ship coming and going. There is also a game up there that is called Jetpack adventure.

Dock- The dock is a place to start a game called Biscuit. The left path leads to the beach. The right path leads to the town. Not very much on the beach same as the iceburg. It is also decorative on special occasions.

Snow fort- It's where you can hold snowball fights and see what time it is in Club Penguin.

Mine- There isn't much to say about the mine but there is a game. It's called the Cart Surfing game.

Boiler Room- To get to the boiler room you can go to the night club and going in a stero. The sereo is on the right hand side of the DJ Booth.

Ski Mountain- You can play a sledding game. Go up to the mountain and go to any mountain to begin playing the game.

Games
There is a game in the Coffee shop. The shop has ran out of coffe and needs your help. Catch coffee bean bags and be careful of fish and the flower pots. You cannot hold to many bags. You can only hold four bags.
Also in the coffe shop, if you go upstairs you'll go to play manacala. I am pretty sure you know how to play manacala. You play against someone and move pebbles.
