Is buying Club Penguin worth paying for?

It's alright as a non member, but when you buy it you get a lot more access. More Puffles, Backstage, clothes, wigs, objects, etc.

I became a paid member when I started playing in January (this year) specifically so that I could keep our wiki (http://disneyonlineworlds.com/index.php/Club_Penguin) up-to-date.
That being said - I like being a member as I like getting the "stuff". If you are not into the stuff then you don't need to be a member.

i'm not a member, but some things i saw "aww i wish i could have that" but most things i say "eh maybe not...". i have other things to spend my money on

I think it is totally worth paying because you get so much more access to everything and it is just much more fun. I am paying with my own money because I love Club penguin so much!

Yes. I calculated not too long ago that I have spent $166.60 on Club Penguin membership. Totally worth it.

Catalog stuff is nice, though it is expensive. However, I like being a full member, and compared with some websites I've seen and/or tried, Club Penguin's membership fee is reasonable. So, it is worth it to me.

well.... I used to subscribe to CP until I decided to use my subscription to pay for POTCO. but, paying 60$ or so a year isn't really worth it.

I say yes, its awsome being a member buying all the clothes and hair and all that fun stuff.
But i still like the free stuff it's neat littel things and fun to have.

With 12 monthly memberships, the annual fee is $71.40. With 2 6-month memberships, the annual fee is $59.90. With 1 all-year membership the annual fee is $57.95. I recommend buying 1 6-monther and 6 1-monthers. That way if it's a phase it should last at least 6 months, which is worth saving. Then, if you want to, spend a total of $35.70 on the year's remainder in a plan you can always stop within the next month. This way you save. Unless you have really short "phases". In that case I would purchase 12 1-month memberships. But you probably shouldn't buy the all year membership, considering the fact that even if you use it all year (which there is a good chance will not happen) you only save $1.90.
