Miss Terry 3

I know the chapters are long, but please accept that fact as I try to make the stories interesting and entertaining. :)
Herbert P Bear was pacing back and forth in his cave. It was so bitterly cold, there were icicles hanging from his eyebrows. He picked them off in deep thought. He was cooking up another plan to do something terrible to silence annoying penguin parties, or find a warmer place to live altogether.
"I'm sooo cold!!!" he shouted to nobody in particular. Suddenly, one of his large boxes of machinery toppled over. In case you aren't a penguin secret agent, let me fill you in on Herbert. If you are an agent, skip this next paragraph...
Herbert P. Bear is a polar bear who floated here in search of warm land. He came here on an iceberg which he accidentally tipped, and a small crab he calls "Klutzy" saved him. They became friends, and started to despise penguins. He keeps coming up with schemes to try to stop penguins from having fun. He steals or finds machinery to build gadgets that will help him with these schemes.
Herbert looked around, waiting for Klutzy to pop out and give him a look that meant "sorry, didn't mean to knock the box over.." But, he saw that the small crab had been sleeping, and had been woken up by the crash to now also look for the source of the noise.
He peeked around the box, and glared at a young pink penguin hiding behind the box.
"What are you doing here!?" growled the polar bear as he pushed the poor penguin into a cage. Trembling, the small penguin whispered "I was playing hide and seek with a friend, and I thought he might have been hiding here. Then I saw you in here, and got terribly frightened. I hid behind the box, thinking you would leave soon so I could escape, but you didn't. I've been here for at least a full day. When you screamed like that, I jumped so high that, unfortunately, the box fell over." The small penguin was not an agent, apparently, so she didn't know Herbert would be here. She shyly added, "My name is Terry."
"WHAT DO I CARE ABOUT YOUR NAME?!?" roared Herbert. "If I could name penguins, they would all be named Annoying Stupid Feathered Things Who Drive Me Crazy!!!
Chpt. 2
Herb was going to let Terry go because she was just a little penguin, and if she told anyone about him they wouldn't believe her. But he found a few reasons why he shouldn't:
1. She might be some help in a plot
2.He was starting to enjoy being mean to her
3. If he let her go, he would be doing something NICE to a PENGUIN
Terry had been there now for three days, and she was famished, scared, and homesick. Rockhopper was currently docked in Club Penguin, and she wished she was exploring The Migrator instead of sitting in a cage. At that time, Herbert had taken a break from torturing her with the smells of hot chocolate or pizza to, once again, pace around with the idea he was going to suddenly have a plan to escape this freezer. He stepped outside so he could get som fresh air to think on, and stopped dead. His expression looked like he had just seen a ghost penguin with seven heads. He gazed at The Migrator, and thought to himself: Tomorrow, Herbert P Bear is escaping from Club Penguin.
. . .
Terry's hide and seek buddy, Jimo7, was not having much fun, either. It was everywhere, The Club Penguin Times, PNN, the radio, everywhere, that a certain pink penguin had gone missing. When everyone found out that she had gone missing while playing with Jimo7, he was being questioned about it 24/7. He was now standing in front of Terry's family and his own mother, recieving stern looks from all of them.
"I mean it, I don't know where she is!" He told them for the 14th time.
"Oh, really!" scoffed his mother. "So she just disappeared into thin air, right?"
"No! But I'm just saying that I've searched everywhere, and I just can't find her!"
And it was true. Jimo7 had searched everywhere from the Dock to the Iceberg to The Town. He even checked in member igloos on the map and in her friend's igloos, but he hadn't even seen one of Terry's feathers.
Chpt. 3
Herbert lived up to his word. The next night, he shoved Terry over to the Beach where Captain Rockhopper's pride and joy, The Migrator, was docked. The captain had decided to explore the island that night instead of stay in his ship, which was sheer luck for Herbert. After thouroughly examining the ship, he finally figured out how to get it started and lifted the anchor. Terry felt seasick already. This wasn't only a sinister plot, it was the greatest theft ever. Stealing the Migrator! This is definietly going to cause trouble, thought the penguin. Herbert messed with the sails, turned the boat to face opposite of the strong wind, and they were off at full speed.
. . .
Three penguins were sent out to look for Terry. They were all smart agents, and they were Sky35422, Shasto, and Whitefang. They split up, Sky heading in the direction of Ski Hill, Shasto towards the Cove, and Whitefang to the Beach. Whitefang also was given some sheer luck that night, because she arrived at the Beach just in time to see two figures approaching the ship. Whitefang quickly hid behind a pine tree. When the two figures were closer, she began to examine them. The shorter of the two was a tiny penguin, and Whitefang knew instantly it was Terry. But the other penguin was harder to identify; it didn't even look like a penguin! After long inspection, the second figure was identified as the only known polar bear on Club Penguin. Both of them entered the boat, and moments later it began to move! Without thinking, Whitfang gasped, ran up to the Migrator, and grabbed on to the edge just before it was out of reach. She pulled herself up into the ship and sneaked into the hold without Terry nor Herbert noticing.
Chpt. 4
Obviously, as Terry had predicted, things were crazy in Club Penguin! Rockhopper's ship was stolen, Whitefang was also missing, Terry had been gone for four days now, Jimo7 was being accused guitly of something, it was all just a mess.
Whitefang, hiding behind some of the captain's many nicknacks for sale, had fallen asleep after long hours of watching for anyone to enter the hold. Herbert had also carelessly dozed off, what did you expect from a polar bear? But Terry had taken advantage of this time to mess around in the Captain's Quarters and the hold. And of course, what could happen next but for her to stumble upon a sleeping penguin! Whitefang woke instantly, and smiled up at the staring Terry.
"Hi! I'm Whitefang! And you're Terry, I'm guessing,"grinned Whitefang.
"Yes but... how did you get here? And how do you know my name?"
"You're becoming a very famous penguin on the island. I was sent out to search for you, along with two other agents. I saw what Herbert did, and of course I got on the boat." she explained.
Suddenly, they heard footsteps in the upper part of the ship, and both penguins returned to their original positions.
Chpt. 5
All of the PSA was putting their whole effort into locating the two missing penguins and The Migrator. But only a penguin named Nina actually figured out that the three missing things were linked together in some way. The first person she questioned was, of course, Gary the Gadget Guy.
"G, can I ask you a few questions about the three mysteries?" Nina said as the stepped into the Gadget room.
"Sure! Ask me anything." G replied
"Okay, so when Whitefang went out to search for Terry, you probably gave her some kind of equipment just in case, right?"
"Of course!" He exclaimed. "She had a bag with her. Let's see... it had a grappling hook, a life preserver, a jetpack... Oh, and she had those gadgets built in to her Spy Phone. Not that they would be much help..."
Her Spy Phone! "Thanks, G!" Nina called as she rushed to her igloo.Once in her igloo, she tried to call Whitefang.
Whitefang heard a faint ring coming from deep inside her pocket. She immediately answered it.
"Whitefang... can you hear me?" she heard someone say on the other line. "It's me, Nina!"
"Nina! Oh my goodness, you will never believe where I am! I'm on The Migrator with Terry and that nasty old polar bear, Herbert! He stole the ship and now he's sailing off to Who-Knows-Where!!"
Nina couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Why is Terry there??"
"I'm not sure. I think-" But Whitefang couldn't finish her sentence. Something had bumped the ship and the force had knocked the phone out of her hands. The phone hit the floor and broke.
Chpt. 6
Moments after the huge bump that broke Whitefang's phone, Terry came down into the hold, grinning.
"Whitefang! Guess what?" she laughed
"WHAT!? Not again, not again, NOT AGAIN!! Nooooo!" they heard Herbert shout.
"Okay, you're happy and he's angry so I'm completely in mystery," replied Whitefang.
"Well maybe you should come out and see for yourself!"
The two penguins peeked out of the hold and out of the boat. As Whitefang examined the situation, the boat had crashed on a rock perched on an island, which wasn't something to be happy about. But after seeing all the details, it looked like they were on Rockhopper Island (she had spotted a red puffle scurrying about).
"Just like the last time he tried to escape the cold," she mumbled.
Terry and Herbert hopped down from the ship and landed in the snow. Herbert sat, shivering, while Terry happily played in the snow. Whitefang decided this was a good time to reveal herself, if any. She also came tumbling into the snow.
"Oh, great. Another penguin. My day just keeps getting better and better!"
After several minutes of playing, the penguins looked around, trying to figure out what to do next.
"Hey Herbert, remember the time you wanted to chop down the Ski Lodge and you took my Spy Phone?" Whitefang had an idea.
"Yeah, so?"
"If you give me that Spy Phone back, I can get us all back to Club Penguin."
"Pfft, yeah right!" he scoffed. "I'll fix this ship myself if I have to! I don't even WANT to go back to that snowball! It's just as cold as this island, with more annoying penguins!"
Terry threw a snowball at him.
As the polar bear trudged away, Whitefang explained to Terry how Nina had called and that the Penguin Secret Agency knows what's happening.
Next, they waddled off in the opposite direction to figure out what to do.
Chpt. 7
It took all night, but at last Whitefang and Terry were able to build a cruddy but usable shelter using rocks, sticks, leaves, and the gadgets that Whitefang had. They were even successful enough to build a fire, and once Herbert had wandered his way back to look at the shelter, he was extremely jealous.
"Ya know, Herb, all this could be yours for the price of one Spy Phone." said Whitefang.
"I already told you, no! I'm gonna repair the ship tomorrow, then I'll be on my way to paradise! Too bad I can't say the same for two unlucky birdies!" he grinned meanly.
That time, both penguins pummeled the polar bear with snowballs.
"GAAH!!" He screamed as he fell over into the snow.
"Just tell us where the agent phone thingy is," said Terry
"N-O spells NO!! Go fix the boat or something, quit bugging me."
So Terry zoomed into the ship to search for the Spy Phone.
. . .
Nina told the PSA what had happened, then word quickly spread to the entire island. (Yes, they had to finally admit to all the non-agents that there was a bad guy causing all the mischeif that had happened lately.) In no time, Rockhopper was reading the Club Penguin Times, shocked at what he was seeing. Without thinking, he rushed over to the Sport Shop and barged into G's office.
"What be the meanin' of this??" He shouted, pushing the newspaper in Gary's face. Puzzled, G replied "I'm not sure what you mean. Every word of that article is true. I'm not sure why you think this is a lie."
Much more of Rockhopper in disbelief, and much more of G insisting he would never lie to a newspaper, and finally, Rockhopper gave in.
"If yer story is true, I'm gonna find me ship meself. I'll find a seaworthy crew, and I'll get The Migrator back."
"I definietly do not advise-" G began, but Rockhopper gave him such a glare that he decided to be quiet.
Chpt 8
It took him a long time, but at last Rockhopper chose two penguins to sail with him. Once the three had all the proper equipment, they set sail for the seas of Club Penguin.
. . .
Herbert headed down to the hold to find supplies for his own shelter. After searching through the cluttered mess, he finally came upon about a hundred boards, a box of nails, and a rusty old hammer. Instead of building a shelter, however, he spent the entire night repairing the small damage of the Migrator.
"Ow!"
Whitefang awoke to someone throwing sticks at her (Guess who). Terry woke up shortly afterwards.
"Get in the boat," Herbert yawned. "Or you're swimming back to Club Penguin."
The two penguins hesitated. But what choice did they have? Reluctantly, they entered the Migrator.
(Note: You might be thinking: Wait a minute! Why would he want PENGUINS to sail with him? The answer is that he probably expects them to do all the work. You didn't think he would be doing all the work when someone else could and probably would do all the work, did you?)
The good news was that there wasn't even a single breeze when everyone got on the Migrator, so of course it couldn't go anywhere. In about 5 hours, the sky darkened and an extremely strong wind came, bringing with it every boat"s nightmare, a storm.
Everyone crowded into the boat and without warning, the Migrator starting sailing at double speed.
By then, Rockhopper and his two shipmates, Summer and Dixx, had just reached the seas around Rockhopper Island.
"Captain!" said Summer. "It's the Migrator! And- Oh my gosh, it's moving!"
"Follow that ship!" roared Rockhopper.
Chpt. 9
After about 20 minutes, the small storm had turned into a strong blizzard, you could hardly see ten feet in front of you from all the snow. Waves crashed against the Migrator, rocking it so much that Whitefang and Terry nearly fell off the boat. They both went into the hold so that they wouldn't take that chance again.
Rockhopper and crew were trying as hard as they could to row against the storm, but at least they had brought a flashlight so they could see through the snow better. At one point Whitefang came out from the hold to see if Herbert had turned into a polar popsicle yet (not that she cared). She looked over on the side of the boat and noticed Rockhopper's flashlight beam. After searching the hold for a bit, she found another flashlight and went back up. She shined the light over and, to her surprise, the light revealed the faces of Rockhopper and two other penguins! "HEY!" she called out. Rockhopper heard her and waved. Whitefang could tell that he was trying hard to catch up to his beloved Migrator, but he was no match for the mighty waves. Terry came up from the hold and saw Rockhopper. They both plunked down on the deck and sighed. Their best (and possibly only) hope was for Rockhopper to get on the ship and get things under control, but that accomplishment was nowhere near. It was so frustrating, Herbert always ruined everything! Without thinking about it, Whitefang ran up to where Herbert was steering the ship, and grabbed the wheel.
"What are you doing?!" Herbert yelled.
"I'm turning this boat around! You've had your fun, and now we're going back to Club Penguin!!"
"No way! I've been stuck in that icebox for too long! You decided to get on this ship, you're going to face the consequesnces!"
This isn't even your ship!"
"May I add something?" Terry mumbled.
"WHAT?" snapped Whitefang and Herbert.
"Look out!!!"
CRASH
Chpt. 10
For a second, the Migrator sailors were stunned by the crash. Then they all looked up. In front of them was a rock wall, about twenty feet high. Both penguins, and even Herbert, had to tilt their head all the way up to see the top of the wall.
"Look what you did!" both Whitefang and Herbert shouted in unison. The endless ocean echoed around them. Terry flipped out of the ship into the shallow water and examined the damage done to the ship. "This might take a while to fix. But in the meantime, where are we??" she said.
"HELLO?" called a voice coming from the top of the rock. Shockingly, it was a penguin!! "HEY" he called.
"Well, if it isn't a couple of penguins and an abominable snowman!". The black penguin at the top of the wall threw down a rope ladder. "Come on up!"
Whitefang and Terry climbed up the ladder, while Herbert hesitated. He'd had enough with all the annoying penguins! At the top of the rock wall, there was a flat surface about as big as the Dojo. There were four penguins on the rock, other than the black one that invited them.
"I'm going to take a random guess that you're lost," said the black penguin.
"You guessed right. I'm Whitefang, this is Terry, and that 'abominable snowman' is Herbert."
"Cool. My name's Zemeni, and that's Schement over there," he said, pointing to a lime green penguin sitting by a campfire. She waved. As Zemeni looked over the edge of the rock for Herbert, Schement said "You must be from Club Penguin."
"Yep. Did you used to live there?" asked Terry.
"No," answered Schement. "In fact, I hardly belived it existed at one point. Then Bambadee said he was bored of the place, and that he was going to Club Penguin. I think he read about it in a book..."
"Wait, did you say Bambadee?" interrupted Whitefang.
"Yeah, he used to live here. Have you met him?"
"Are you kidding? Everyone's heard of him!" Whitefang explained the story of Rockhopper and Bambadee.
"I think we're going to learn more about Club Penguin than we ever thought we'd find out," said Zemeni, sitting down by the fire to listen.
Chpt. 11
Back in Club Penguin...
You wouldn't believe how worried G was! He felt terrible, letting Rockhopper and two other penguins get lost at sea in a tiny rowboat. He didn't doubt that Rockhopper knew every ounce of water in the ocean, but that was with the Migrator, not with the cruddy boat they were in. He wasn't going to send out even MORE penguins to get lost in the unknown oceans, but even superior inventing skills couldn't help much.
The group of penguins swapped stories, about Herbert, Club Penguin, the three other penguins sleeping by the fire, the little island thing they were on that had no name, and a long story about two penguins that get caught on a boat called the Migrator that was captained by a tall cranky polar bear.
"Is Mr. Herbert going to come up here or what?" said Schement.
"He hates penguins, so don't count on him showing his face much." replied Whitefang.
In the meantime, Herbert was getting a taste of his own medicine. He felt the same way Terry did earlier. And he seemed to forget about Klutzy when he was leaving Club Penguin. He decided to find out what was on the other side of the "island". There was only about three inches of sand surrounding the rock, so he was lucky that the water was shallow. Once he reached the other end of the wall, he was highly amazed...
Well, not so highly. But what he saw was a VERY large group of trees. So he started creating a plan...
Chpt. 12
"Did you forget us?" Summer called from the bottom of the rock.
"More visitors?" said Schement as she threw down the rope ladder. Up came Dixx, Summer, and the Captain Rockhopper. Everyone spent another few minutes explaining everything.
"So, I guess the first thing to do is fix your ship, Captain," Whitefang said. "Arr, that's right. I'll show ye where me toolbox is." replied Rockhopper.
After two days of working, the worn-down Migrator was fixed. "Wait, where's me saw?" asked Rockhopper after he had counted his tools. No one anwered his question, they were so tired and happy that they could return to Club Penguin. Zemeni and Schement decided to go, too.
. . .
"Three days! It took you three days to sail back? Wow, you did a good job of getting yourself lost at sea!" exclaimed G. Zemeni and Schement immediately made new friends on the island, an things were back the way they were.
Herbert P Bear was pacing back and forth in his cave. It was so bitterly cold, there were icicles hanging from his eyebrows. He picked them off in deep thought. He was cooking up another plan to do something terrible to silence annoying penguin parties, or find a warmer place to live altogether.
