Hi there! I'm new to Club Penguin, I just joined yesterday and it's pretty neat. I'm Joeylonghornsfan on VMK Fan site =D I'm wonder how do I buy clothes and room items? I know how to buy them but it doesn't let me. Any reason to this?

I have about 800 coins. I clicked where it says to make a free account. So I have to pay to buy the clothes and stuff? =/

There are certain things you can get with the free account. You can purchase backgrounds for your player card, different colors for your penguin, red and blue puffles, and food for your puffles. You can also locate hidden items such as the friendship bracelet and pin (currently a butterfly pin). Other than that, I've not found anything you can buy on the free account. You can, however, play all of the mini games and visit all of the same map locations.

Non-members may not buy clothes or furniture, or access occasional brand new game areas. Non-members can buy two puffles (red or blue), get a new color, and/or buy a new background. Everyone can get the free items and hidden pins.

If you are a secret agent, you receive the Spy Phone and access to the H.Q. Where you can do 3 (almost 4) missions and receive a prize when the mission is complete. (available to non-members and members - 30+ days your penguin must be)

If you are a Tour Guide, you receive the Tour Guide Hat. (available to non-members and members - 45+ days your penguin must be)
